Pulling inspiration from the Railroad, the Zind is a boot made to pair with jeans on the weekend or a suit at the office during the week. Using elegantly clean and rich Natural Horween Chromexcel leather, it steps away from the work-boot style and into a class of its own. The Fineline sole offers grip and traction with a dressy profile, while the 415 last gives it a narrow and refined form, making it a style versatile enough to accompany all of your outfits.

Notes From the Designer:
I knew when we finalized it that the ZIND was an immediate best seller and would soon become a classic. When I first saw films like “HUD” and “GIANT,” I was influenced by the shapes of the toes on their cowboy boots and also by the color tone that the black and white film gave them (before the Technicolor reissues.) Because of this, the choice to make it with the Natural Chromexcel was an easy one. Not to mention that the Railroad boot is the same color and is one of our best sellers. The shape of the ZIND, with its slightly tapered toe that comes from our 415 last, is my personal favorite and is able to create a roper like look without the height. The body of the boot is slim enough to wear with a well fitted pair of pants or denim, and the choice of laces gives it a final touch of classiness that brings it all together.
Where would HELM be without Amelia Zind? In addition to being a beautiful person inside and out, she is the anchor of our office, keeping us all sane and in order. She is always taking care of us and our customers as well. Amelia also gives our social media channels the heartbeat that connects our brand to many of our friends and customers. We are proud to have her as part of our team, and it’s only fitting that this amazing, balanced and lovely boot be named after Ms. Zind.
